Home >Things to See and Do

There is so much to see and do in Sea Isle and surrounding areas. The beaches are beautiful and clean and Sea Isle City has a great 1.5 mile oceanfront promenade - boardwalk. Not only are there numerous shops, but you can bike and in-line skate on this blacktopped "boardwalk" between 5 AM to 3 PM on weekdays and 5 AM to Noon on weekends.

There are numerous golf courses in the area for the serious or weekend golfer and miniature golf courses right in Sea Isle City itself to satisfy your urge to make that hole in one.

Boating and sailing enthusiasts will find their own beaches for catamarans and wide back bays for sailing. Public boat launch areas are available throughout the town.

This is a fishing and crabbing Mecca. You can fish from the beaches or from the public piers throughout the city. Half day or full day deep sea fishing is available through the many charters in the area.

If you like to crab, this is definitely the premier spot to be. You can rent a boat and explore the back meadows and creeks, and bring home a bushel of tasty blue claws.

Sea Isle has three shopping districts for its visitors; the downtown section, Promenade Shoppes, and the Shopping Center shops.

Sea Isle offers a wide range of fine restaurants and shops, boating, swimming, summer concerts, and its famous mile and a half long promenade where you can bike, jog, skate, visit the arcades and shop. It is not a wooden boardwalk like most other resorts.

There is always something to do here. You can enjoy the free concerts on Mondays and Wednesday and dance parties on the promenade, guided beach explorations, tennis courts, boating, fishing, and numerous supervised recreational activities and fun places for children of all ages. In the resorts surrounding Sea Isle, there are numerous activities for all to enjoy besides the boardwalks of Ocean City and Wildwood.

Area Restaurants offer mouth watering seafood specialties that make you return every chance you get. Our next door neighbor is the chef at Bracas Cafe so that's where we go! DELICIOUS!

The beaches are clean and the ocean is sparkling clear. Beach tags are required for those over 12 years old  but on Wednesdays, you can spend a free day on the beach and then enjoy a free concert in the evening.

Because Sea Isle was originally a fishing village, anything to do with boats and fishing is big here. For fishing, both Party Boats and Charter Boats are readily available. Party Boats usually carry a large group of people and charges on a per person basis. Deep sea fishing trips can range from 4 to 8 hours. All necessary fishing equipment is usually available for rental. Charter Boats are usually hired by a private group. Equipment are bait and often provided along with the rental. You also can make arrangements to go whale watching.

The Jersey Shore offers a wealth of opportunities for fishing, boating, sightseeing and whale watching. Avalon and Stone Harbor Charters - Avalon and Stone Harbor Party Boats
