The beachfront boardwalk or promenade runs from 29th Street to 57th Street. It is approximately a mile and a half long. It is perfect for just walking and enjoying the sites and sounds of the surf or you can bike, jog and even skate as it is blacktopped and not made of boards. Shopping and eateries make it more enjoyable! There are all sorts of stores on the boardwalk.

You can ride a bicycle on the boardwalk and in-line skate from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays and 5:00 AM to Noon on weekends.

On Mondays and Wednesdays there are concerts on the promenade or boardwalk and dance parties too plus other fun things. There is a program for tots also on Tuesdays where they get to do and see all sorts of fun and educational things.
